- Base Porto: When it’s time to unwind after a productive day, head to Base Porto, a delightful beer garden by the Torre dos Clérigos. It’s the perfect spot to relax in the sunshine and socialize with fellow digital nomads.
- Live Like a Local: When it comes to finding your home base in Porto, charm is in no short supply! Consider Ribeira, a historic waterfront district with colorful houses and a lively atmosphere. Or, if you prefer a quieter scene, the area near the Torre dos Clérigos offers a beautiful backdrop and convenient access to the city center. We lived by the tower ourselves and loved being a 10-minute walk from everything Porto has to offer!
Food & Drink:
- Porto Augusto’s Winery: Raise a glass to a successful remote work stint with a visit to Porto Augusto’s winery across the river. They have some of the best port wine in town! We recommend their wine tasting for an authentic local experience.
- Honest Greens: Looking for healthy fuel for your body and mind? Look no further than Honest Greens! Their cafes offer delicious food and a great work atmosphere – their salmon plate is legendary (trust us!). They also have shops in Lisbon and other cities across Portugal.
- Kind Kitchen: Calling all vegans! Kind Kitchen offers mouthwatering plant-based dishes at fantastic prices – your taste buds (and wallet) will thank you!
- Tapabento S.Bento: Embark on a tapas adventure at Tapabento S.Bento. It’s the perfect way to experience a variety of delicious Portuguese flavors, and is best experienced with a large group!
