- Nanoose Bay & Dolphin Beach: Looking for a charming seaside escape? Nanoose Bay offers sandy beaches, turquoise waters, and a relaxed atmosphere. Head to Dolphin Beach for a chance to spot playful pods of seals and dolphins frolicking in the waves – you might even get a lucky photo!
- Nanaimo – Neck Point Park: Nanaimo, famous for its namesake desert bars, also boasts stunning natural beauty. Neck Point Park offers dramatic cliffs overlooking the Salish Sea, perfect for capturing fiery sunsets or spotting majestic eagles soaring through the sky.
- Campbell River – Elk Falls: We saved my favourite for last! Campbell River boasts the mighty Elk Falls, a cascading marvel surrounded by lush greenery. Feel the spray on your face as you stand at the base of the falls, or take a short hike to the viewing platform for a breathtaking panorama.
